To make sure a file is available offline, simply right-click on the file and select ‘Always keep on this device’ to ensure that it is stored on your device and available offline. When you open an online-only file it downloads to your device and becomes a local file. New files created online (or on another device), appear as online-only files and do not take up storage space on your device and are available when users are connected to the internet.
